Betamax Tape transfer
Your purchase will include:
- A DVD (when ordered) containing your precious memories, PLUS:
- Secure digital download of your footage from our Google Drive® area. All you need to tell us is the file type and/or device you intend to play it on.
- When you select the DVD option you also have the added option to download the ISO/DVD image file(s) as backup - just in case you lose or damage your disc(s).
Betamax was the main competitor - and, ultimately - the 'poor relation' of VHS.
Notwithstanding this, many people still opted for Betamax and, similarly to VHS, family videos were transferred and concatenated onto tapes, with up to, approximately, 3 hours capacity.
Like all analogue formats, Betamax has succumbed to the digital age.
Many of us will identify with the situation where the VCR playing the cassette would mercilessly chew up or snap the tape. You may have a tape, containing very precious memories, which has suffered this fate.
Thankfully, we are able to repair Betamax tapes - with 100% success so far. If your tape requires this service then simply select the option when ordering.
In the unlikely event of us being unable to repair your tape, we will refund the relevant cost of purchase (minus the postage cost) and return your tape(s) to you.
